Porthor

(Whistling Sands)

A crescent-shaped beach of pale sand, backed by cliffs and fields. Known as ’Whistling Sands’ due to the squeaking sound made as you walk over it. The beach has the benefit of a cafe/shop and toilets. A fantastic beach for an evening BBQ and watch the sun go down. Dogs are welcome in low season October – April.
